Loss Prevention Engineer (LP-Eng)

Provides Safety Engineering support for the specification, design and modification of project, facilities and equipment. Identifies physical hazards on operations and recommends controls to eliminate or minimize the hazards. Develops system for implementation by line management to ensure safe systems of work are maintained and improved.

Qualifications:
* Bachelor degree in Engineering discipline (Process, Petroleum Engineering, Electrical)
* Minimum 5-7 years experiences in oil & gas operations with 5-7 years experiences in Loss
Prevention / Safety engineering in EPCI project,
operation lifecycle, etc.
* Fluent in English both written and spoken
* 5-7 years experiences in Safety Engineering/
Risk Assessment/Safety Case.

* Some safety management related training course.
* Working knowledge of Oil & gas Process system, fire protection system, etc.
* Advance / Sound Knowledge of any Loss Prevention / Safety engineering aspects in oil and gas
industry.

Experience:

1. 5 years experience as Surveyor;

Responsibilities:

Experience:

Applicant must have:
Minimum 5 years experience in mining industries. Experiences in construction, fabrication, operation or production will be an advantage;

Location:
Initially (first 6 months), the position will be Jakarta based on the MOS Implementation team (Management Operating System � Petrosea�s own mine operation system);
Some site work will be included. After this period, the position will report to the Mining Business Manager and have periods of project work.

Role responsibilities:
To assist the Senior Mining Engineer in the development of long term mine plans and short term detailed mine execution plans integrating the MOS process and provide the necessary parameters needed by MOS on a continuous feedback basis to enable short term control to achieve the long term mine plan;
Assist with the implementation of the MOS system through leadership of technical assistants, production of accurate and timely reports, and troubleshooting problems encountered within the system;
Work with the surveyors to contribute to the compilation of monthly progress claims;
Responsible for the accurate and timely production of the monthly, weekly and daily reports
Maintain a very high proficiency in the use of mine planning software;
Coach and mentor Graduate Mining Engineers and Technical Assistants to ensure that they are being prepared to take on higher responsibilities within the organization;
Contribute to the compilation of tenders by providing Mine planning and design support needed by the Estimator.
Education:
S1 (BS) Degree in Mining Engineer from a recognized university.
