General Manager

An independent Oil Trading Company that is expanding into upstream and downstream assets is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced professional to develop and execute a business strategy for current and future upstream assets based out of our Singapore office.

General Manager
Working closely with the Board of Directors, you will identify, analyze and develop business plans for the new business unit, as well as handle and manage due diligence work and details related to joint-venture transactions and partner relationships. You will also develop plans for additional asset acquisitions and build the business unit into a successful operating unit.

The key requirements for this role are:
• Minimum ten years experience in an International Oil and Gas upstream business environment
• Exceptional business, commercial and strategic acumen
• The ability to be part of a small and highly motivated team
• A track record of building business capability in driving profitable growth in an international
business environment
• A good understanding of cross border tax structures and the ability to interpret and analyze
financial statements
• Degree in Petroleum, Geology or related Oil & Gas Field
