Senior Software Developer (.net, VB.net SQL) - Ireland

Requirements:

Technical: (in order of importance)

1. Competent in SQL Server (Degree of knowledge to be capable of writing SQL queries with inner joins, outer joins, subqueries and grouping,
2. Understand database connectivity, reference data constraints and stored procs.
3. MSRS
4. .NET & VB6
5. C#
6. Strong Oracle DB skills.
7. Some Informix an advantage.
8. Informatica knowledge an advantage.

Non-Technical:

1. Strong troubleshooting skills.
2. Excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
3. Project Management experience.
4. Familiar with a hi-vol manufacturing environment and capable of engaging with the business directly.
5. Strong analytical skills to be able to quickly understand business processes and design appropriate solutions.

Other Essential Attributes:
- Analytical, self-motivated and strong sense of responsibility, organized, attention to details team player
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Ability to communicate with all levels of users
- Good command of spoken English
