CLIENT An international professional services company for the global
market sectors of Infrastructure, Mining & Industry, Defence, Property
& Buildings and the Environment.
POSITION Service Group Manager
ROLE PURPOSE This role has ongoing organization management
responsibility for the development and performance of a Service Group.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, Project
Directors and Job Managers
- Secure schedule and manage workload for the Service Group
- Provide leadership to the service group in line with Company's
values, purpose, goals and objectives
- Ensure that the Group has the materials and resources necessary to
delivery quality service
- Develop and agree job work packages, budgets, and progress with Job
Managers and Project Directors
- Manage the allocation of people to projects in agreement with the
Job Managers and Project Directors
- Build effective relationships with other Service Group Managers and
with Business Stream Leaders, Support Personnel (People, Finance, IT,
Marketing and other key personnel)
- Ensure that people within the Service Group receive clear written
instructions and leadership from Job Managers
- Achieve financial targets for the Group with respect to forward
work, utilization and invoiced fees
