LOADING MASTER AND PILOT/BERTHING MASTER

Our client is an Oil and Gas company, currently looking for a high caliber candidates to be posted as:

PILOT/BERTHING MASTER

Key Responsibilities:
a.. Safely navigating the port area in line with operational procedures
b.. Berthing, mooring, unmooring and un-berthing at the terminal including communications with other port users and
c.. The operational direction of towage support services
Key Requirements:
a.. Minimum Master Marine class 1
b.. Minimum 3 years Sea service as a Master/Captain
c.. Minimum 5 years as harbor pilot experience including handling berthing/un-berthing of vessel over 50,000 DWT at jetty type terminals and use of ASD tugs
d.. Preferable to have knowledge and experience of using Excort-capable tugboats
e.. Fluent in oral & written English
LOADING MASTER

Key Responsibilities:
a.. Conduct work preparation for receiving ship (cargo, terminal equipment/mooring appliances, loading arm), preparation of shore tank condition in conjunction cooperation with other department(s)
b.. Conduct close contact with ship agent.ship captain prior to ship arrival in order to exchange information of ship particular/terminal particular data
c.. Supervise, coordinate the execution of berthing/un-berthing of ship, supervise ship mooring during loading, operation in conjunction with ship captain, chief officer, ship officer and coordination with Storage and Loading Supervisor
Key Requirements:
a.. Minimum Master Marine class 2
b.. Minimum 5 years Sea service onboard of Gas carrier as chief officer, LNG experience will be advantage
c.. Preferable to have experience of Hydrocarbon terminal operations in a shore based role
d.. Preferable to have knowledge and understanding of Port Operations
e.. Fluent in oral and written English
