MERCHANDISING MANAGER for a worldwide multinational company

The Client:
The client is an international retail and manufacturing business with operation in 36 markets worldwide since 1828. Today, the Group owns more than 7,200 retail stores running the gamut from health & beauty chains, luxury perfumeries & cosmetics to food, electronics, fine wine and airport retail arms.

The Job:

The incumbent will report directly to The Merchandising Controller,
Responsible for all facets of getting merchandise
Identify the most cost effective supplier without jeopardizing the company’s standard
Ensure the smooth functioning of stores in terms of product, promotion, presentation and pricing.
Maintain the records and up dates of pricing, promotion
Dedicated to the job as well as a Dept Head function
The Requirements;
The candidate would ideally be a master degree or bachelor degree with some related experience minimal 6 years and at least 3 years in the managerial level with leadership and time management skill. Specifically the person should have a merchandising manager / GM Merchandising experience, and experience in a multinational company with good personality and professionalism. Those who are currently holding Key Account Manager Position for beauty and skin product are encouraged to apply. Positive personality, excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to build strong relationships quickly and easily are welcome. In line to the nature of product, female candidates are preferred with min age of 36 years old and fluent in English, both oral and written is a must.
